Description
Scarlet Ludwigia, is a slow-growing amphibious plant found in wetland areas and roadside culverts in the southern regions of USA. It requires generous levels of carbon dioxide and warm temperatures to grow well, and requires good lighting to maintain its vibrant scarlet colouration.
Can become “leggy” in poorer lighting conditions, where it will drop its lower leaves and rapidly grow towards the surface. Increasing available light, as well as a few drops of Pisces Enrich fertilizer, will help it stay bushy and vibrant.
